Happy New Year everybody! And by everybody I mean the 3 people that read this post besides myself :D I could tell you what we did on New Years but pretty much everybody that reads this blog was there. So i'll recap... Rock band all night, sparkling cider, broken glass, bandaids. :D It was a good one.
Its been two weeks since the wedding and things are going great! Our honeymoon is next Sunday..exactly one week from today. We're going to the Bahamas. I am so excited! I've never been anywhere like that. We're going to have so much fun :D. And we are also so thrilled that we have found an apartment! We're moving in on the 26th of this month . It's the weekend after we get back. There's so much fun stuff this month! Kristi had her baby.. Bryce on the 3rd. He's cute and he has a full head of dark dark hair and he makes this humming noise :D so so cute.
We haven't been up to much except trying to get all our stuff ready for the move and buy everything we don't have that we'll need which is...well everything. There's this Papasan chair from Pier 1 that we're going to get for our movie room.
It's super comfy and it's red..which is one of my favorite colors :D We aren't going to have a lot of color in our apartment because we've been partial to the neutrals in all of our choices so far but we really like the red chair so our movie room will be colorful :D.
Oh well we'll probably only have the basics when we move in and then start picking up everything else when we're better familiar with the apartment. But all you readers out there are invited to come over and hang out with us in our new place!! :D
Oh and as for the cute comic at the beginning of this post...I had to add it because I found it a while ago and I just felt that it reminded me of all the short trips Brandon and I made to see each other and how we hung on to every second til we had to go home...and now that we're at home together we can look back and really appreciate our time together. Oh...and after dinner we went to Target because we needed to pick up some stuff and while we were browsing around I had a thought. I suggested aloud that we should go check out the shoe section because I desperately needed a pair of work shoes. Brandon lovingly agreed and onward we went. And guess what?? I walked out with not one but FIVE pairs. Yes...five. They are having some shoe clearance extravaganza. I only spent $40. That was about how much i would have spent on one pair of work shoes. Brilliant!
It was their winter season so it was about 75 degrees everyday and the ocean was a little cold but that didn't stop us from getting in our bathing suits and jumping in! We did so many fun things while we were there. We rented a scooter and drove around, we went parasailing which was awesome!, and we also took a jet ski tour around the island and stopped at a little spot where a part of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was filmed. Brandon and I found various sea creatures during our excursions. We found a starfish, a stingray, an eel, a teeeeny tiny crab, some hermit crabs. 
:D I am so excited because that means a) no more interviews b) money money c) a new computer :D d) lots of other things e)some health insurance YAY!! The hours for training are 8-430 but the hours for the position I'm in which is called the Cash management center are 7-3 :D. This will be the earliest anyone has seen me up since high school haha.
