Saturday Brandon and I went to Lone Star Park for a Picnic that Honda was having. It turned out to be in this huge pavillion so I guess it was more than a picnic but thats what they were calling it. There was tons of food there, best of all were the chocolate cookies! They ha
d a few games that some people were playing and there was a bouncy castle outside for the children. I was a bit saddened that it was children only. I do enjoy the bouncy castles. :)It was sooo HOT outside!! :O !
We bet $5 on a horse named Afternoon Punch. The high stakes bet was made solely on his name. I was convinced he got 3rd place but when I went up to claim my little winnings I came to find out that he apparently did not place at all. How sad for Afternoon Punch. We stayed for about two hours and spent most of it with Megan and David. After a while there wasn't much left to do and the heat was really getting to us. It was really cool seeing a race though, we had never done that before. We had a lot of fun and were glad that Honda threw such a good "picnic" for its employees :)
