I just want everyone to know how much I love my beautiful wife jess.  She is my best friend and she has no idea how much she means to me.  I wish you all could know Jess as well as I know her.  She is the sweetest, cutest, smartest person I know and I care for her with all of my heart.  Jess, I would do anything for you.  I am here for you now and will continue to be here for you always.  I love you.

Hello New Home!!

So Brandon and I moved into our new home on Saturday and it has been amazing so far. Thanks to everyone who helped us ( mostly everyone who reads this) we got all our stuff moved over here without too much trouble ( minus one tumble down the stairs and a distraught kitty). We love love it here and we are so happy. Luckily we got to keep all the furnishings because I prob never would have gotten around to decorating this place as nicely as it is now. I'm stressing trying to keep it perfect but it isnt really happening. Spring is here and kitty is shedding. Hello kitty hair flying across our new floors. Hello kitty hair everywhere! Oh well its great here and all three of us are as happy as can be. :)

This is our new home but the pictures are from when it was a model, so put a wooden garage door where those doors are and you've got our place!

Goodbye Birdie.

When I woke up this morning before I got ready for work, I went to go bring Hedwigs cage to the window. But when I went to pick him up I saw that he was lying on the bottom of the cage. I'm not sure what happened really. He was acting strangely yesterday and maybe he hurt himself. I'm not sure, but we made him a little birdie casket and gave him a proper burial next to a tree behind our apartment. We even found him a tiny headstone.

Goodbye birdie. You will be missed.

So Long 2008!

This has been a great year. I hope 2009 can be as wonderful, if not better. There were so many new and great things this year. Here's just some of the things I loved about 2008.

Those are just a few things, but there were so many things to be thankful for in 2008. I wish everyone a happy new year! :) May this year be the best one yet!

Hedwig

So I have some news. We have a little addition to our family and it's name is hedwig. We think it's a girl but it still may be too young to tell. I just watched Harry Potter and I needed to name it Hedwig. I got the idea for a parakeet when I decided to get my mom one for her birthday while I was up in New York. She had one a long time ago and had been talking about wanting one so we went out and I got her one. When I came back here I sort of missed the little budgie so I convinced Brandon to go out and look at them with me. We picked the littlest of the lot. I was worried about kitty and the birdie but so far so good. She's interested in it but not too too much. We'll see how it goes :)

Reasons Not to Fly on Thanksgiving break

Copy of an email I sent to Lisa, regarding my trip home from New York

Dad took NYC exit instead of Albany on the thruway even though i tried
pulling the wheel
34 miles later we were back on track
speeding to make up time
speeding ticket
went to Albany anyway
in security 15 min b4 flight is leaving
get to gate with 5 min to spare
flight it delayed 1.5 hrs
I'm screwed.
I get a text from Orbitz, my JFK flight is delayed an hr as well
I am happy again with prospects of making it home
My plane is taxing and i get a bunch of texts
One being Orbitz telling me basically 'Just kidding' the flight is leaving at 7:45
instead of 8:30.... it's 7:51
Then I get another text saying 'just kidding' again its 8... so i book it
I grab my bag and run I get there and its chaos.
There's 3 flights leaving from my gate, or i should say 3 delayed or
cancelled flights
I break through the crowd and she cant hear me so i yell DALLAS!
And she proceeds to tell me it's gone.
I'm like gone!? It says its boarding !! She's like nope it left.
So i walk away and while I'm calling Brandon i just break down.
He answers and cant hear me because I'm inaudible.. (haha)
I tell him I'm stranded and there's no hope so he says something and will
call me back.
I go and find a kiosk and wait in line
The guy i go to doesn't even look me in the face, he books me for the next
day at 6 with a layover in Atlanta for 5 HRS!
I don't realize how sucky it is til i walk away
I find another kiosk and a guy says there's one that gets me to Dallas at 11
with a stop in Atlanta so I'm like woo!
A man comes barreling through some door and wont stop walking
The guy helping me runs after him
He comes back, the flight is gone.
He's like i don't know what happened.
F.
So he lists me as standby and i leave
Brandon calls, he got me a room
I walk away get on a Air train take an elevator walk outside ( alone in the
city :( scary thing)
The shuttle comes I go to hotel
I try and sleep
My neighbors are having sex
(I cant make this stuff up)
They stop and i lay down
It starts again
I fall asleep
3:50 i wake up and catch 4:30 shuttle to airport
6 am flight
Two clerks at the desks both on the phone
5:17 or so I get my tickets go through security
I meet this Brazilian kid who had to sleep in the airport all night
his first time in America, he was so happy though it was crazy
I get to my flight get on and arrive in Atlanta
Someone faints on someone else and they get hurt (no joke)
So we cant get off the plane when it lands til they get off but
people wont sit down
Captain yells over the speaker , twice and they get off
I run to see if i can get on the 10 Atlanta flight ,
clerk says im listed but no chance
I sit and sit
They call me I thank the lord and get on
We wait to take off for like an hr due to too much air traffic
I get to Dallas and I cant believe I'm there...
No luggage, the guy delivers it at 8 last night.

Every flight i went on either was delayed or took forever to land or tax or
take off
Im pretty sure that my Albany flight circled JFK for like an hr before it
landed and that i could have made the original flight
I have more stories about this believe me its ridiculous

Rock Band 2

So Brandon and I went to the mall because we haven't been there in a while. I usually avoid it due to not being able to resist buying something I like. Well his whole reason in going was to "look" at Rock Band 2 and "discuss" it :) . Well we did look at it AND discuss it and in the end we bought it but under the condition that he needs to sell his I pod that he never uses and at least one or two of his games... I will make sure this happens :) We played it last night and it was alot of fun except for now I'm tired from being up til 2 am.
